REMARK: YOU HAVE COMPLETED THE DEGREE OF BACHELOR OF ENGINEERING (COMPUTER SCIENCE)
Its time of the year again! Release of Exam results!!
As usual, Im very excited and anxious of my result as I'm afraid that I would fail one of my papers and I would need to retake the module again. Retaking is not a problem if I have some more study semester in NTU, but it will be a problem if this is my last semester and that I'm graduating from NTU!
Nervous and excited, I kept checking and refreshing my internet browser when the clock have yet to even strike 00:00am. And when the clock strikes 12am, I refreshed for the one last time and finally saw my results - PASSED! I have successfully cleared all my modules and officially graduated from NTU!! No more exams and studies anymore in my life! :) Well, although my results were not very fantastic but at least I do not have to repeat any modules or delay my graduation year! :)
Happy happy!! Just like what the remark says: I have graduate with a degree of Bachelor of Engineering!

Malacca 2D1N (17.12.11 - 18.12.11)
Monday, December 19, 2011
Finally a proper holiday for this December Holiday - Malacca & Jonker Walk!
Although this trip was the most expensive trip so far but we had fully utilised the trip and our day fruitfully! Coach + Club Room in Equatorial Hotel was about $175 per pax with Five Star Tours.
First day of Trip (17.12.11):
Woke up early in the morning around 5.45am to prepare and met boy at 6.45am. My boy's mum drove us to Boon Lay shopping centre as we will be taking our coach there to Malaysia. Had our breakfast at the coffeeshop there and the shape of the toast was so cute. It's the first thing which brightens up my day!
Coach to Malacca took us nearly 6 hours including 30 mins of break time at Yong Peng Lucky Garden, Johor. Upon reaching Malacca, the coach assistance told us we could have reached there by 12nn actually and the delayed by 2 hours was caused by a traffic accident during our journey to Malacca. During the bus journey, my and my boy each watched 2 movies from the video player on board to fill up our time.
It was already 2pm when we reached Hotel Equatorial Melaka and since we bought our stay at Club Room, we had special check in counter at level 21. Club Room guests were considered to be their VIP and VIPs were entitled not only special check in, but also a lounge area for snacks and welcome drinks.
We were only able to get our room after 3pm therefore we went to the Dataran Pahlawan Megamall Shopping Centre beside our hotel.
The shopping centre was indeed very very big! Simply unable to finish walking at all! It was such a coincidence that Taiwanese Actor Vaness Wu was holding his meet & greet session in the same mall too! However, due to time constraint and that we have already being deprived of 2 hours earlier on due to jams, we did not stay on to wait for Vaness Wu's arrival. There was a sale going on for Mango and I purchased 2 same tops for my sister and myself. A good quality mango branded top at only RM39.90 each. (Photos of gifts for family to be taken and updated at a later part)
Next, we went to the cinema in the shopping mall to purchase tickets to watch Alvin & the Chipmunks 3 for midnight movie!
When the clock hits 3pm, we quickly rushed back to our hotel check in area and redeem our luggage and to check into our CLUB ROOM!! To the shock of my life, the room was indeed big!
Just take a look at the photos taken below! These are the first few views that I saw when I first enter the hotel room!
Toilet comes with a bathtub and a shower area separately, a big big wash basin area, a cubicle area and even a bathroom weighing scale!
The room haves its own sofa sitting area and as well as 2 balcony area! Large room right?? If only my future house have such a generous area for me to decorate and play with the placing of furniture. :)
After which, we quickly left the room for the amazing day ahead @ Jonker Walk! One of the tourist attraction in Malacca is the Jonker Walk! Its about a few km away from our hotel. Although it was far and traffic condition was congested even for pedestrians, we experienced and saw a lot interesting stuffs on our way there. We saw colouful and flowery "carriages" and historical building along the way. Everyone around us seems happy and are enjoying themselves.
The first building that attracted and welcomed me to Jonker Walk was the “三叔公” building. It is famous for this White coffee and I had bought many many packs back to SG for my grandmum and my family!
Upon reaching Jonker Walk, we carried out our itinerary and our first stop is the Hoe Kee Chicken Rice Ball for lunch. It is located near the San Shu Gong Building and usually closed at around evening time. So if you are going to try out this chicken rice ball, you've got to be early!
Next up, we walk along the Jonker Street in search of the famous Jonker 88 Durian Chendol and we finally saw it on our right side of the road! Here is the photo of the shop taken:
We walk around the Jonker street and as it is still early, there are not much people on the street so of cos i managed to took some photos around the place. Here are some of the rest of the photos taken during our walk and explorations in at Jonker Walk. Im just too lazy to specifically explain every single details of our walk, Jonker street is like our Chinatown in SG to be short.... :P
After so much eating and walking around Jonker Walk, we went back to our hotel for some rest before we head out again for our midnight movie. I was so tired that I eventually slept in the theatre and did not really watch the movie at all! What a waste! I simply fell into deep sleep once we reached our hotel after the movie!
Woke up the next day at 9am myself even though the alarm had not gone off. Washed up and head for breakfast at Kampachi Japanese Restaurant in the Hotel Equatorial.
After breakfast, my boy and I went back to pack up and to take a shower before we left for SG.

Check out our hotel room at 12nn the second day and left our luggage with the bell counter since we would like to do our last minute shopping in Megamall and that our coach will only arrive at 2.30pm. We walked to the MegaMall again and this time round, I shopped for my brother's belt and hopefully something for my mum. But in the end, I only managed to buy a leather belt and a casual belt for my brother, and also a leather belt for my boy. :)
When shopping is done, we went back to our hotel to wait for our coach. Left Malacca in coach with a rainy weather and finally reached SG Golden Mile at 8pm in the night. 2D1N passes so fast and to be frank, I WISH FOR MORE HOLIDAYS!!! :P

It's Voyage De La Vie again!!

It's Voyage De La Vie again!
Won myself 2 pairs of Voyage De La Vie Concert Tickets for show on Friday 09.12.2011 and Sunday 11.12.2011! My boy also won a pair of tickets through the same contest for a show on the same Friday! So I'd decided that we shall watch it with my mum and brother since they have yet to watch such a amazing performance and as well as yet to visit RWS before.
Went down to Parkmall for ticket collection before we head to RWS for the show. Since my boy and I had won a different category tickets, we decided to let my mum and brother to have a better seating for a better experience. But I am quite regretful for the decision due to the pains and sufferings she experienced during the show. Due to that she was sitting at the first 4th row in front of the stage, she suffered pains at on of her eyes when the first "bomb explosion" occurred as part of the performance. Sorry mum! :(
There aren't much photo taken during the show since cameras and videos are not allowed during the concert (as usual :/).
It was an hr and a half show and after which, we walked around at the RWS and took some photos with the Universal Studio logo and the Christmas Tree (Its the giving and Sharing season!! )
My mum was just so cute to suggest to take a photo with someone holding on to the "ball" as a pose! Look at how cute she is, trying her best to hold it...
The day ended with a fun and enjoyable experience in RWS. Am now deciding what should I do with the 2nd pair of tickets which I have won...

Johor Bahru 2D1N Trip @ only $19 per pax for hotel!! Do you believe that??
Well, my boy was surfing around and come to saw this unbelievable deal on one of the deals website. He showed me and we immediately purchased it. Since we cant have a longer holiday for this holiday season, we decided to go for those short trips to satisfy ourselves.
Stayed over at my boy's place the night before the trip since we will be driving into JB for our trip. Woke up the next day around 8am and prepared for our trip at 9am and as we expected, the traffic was congested and jam were getting longer and longer at the causeway. Since check in at hotel was at 12nn, we decided to change our car wipers at one of the car servicing workshop, which we always frequent for the past few JB trips. One pair of car wipers and a back car wiper only cost us RM 90! Pretty cheap yeah? Bet you cant get any such good pricing in SG at all! If any of you wanna know where this workshop is, just give me a ring or text! :)
Next up, we had our lunch at Nandos' in Tebrau City. It's way much cheaper then that we have in SG. My boy and I shared a plate of 1/4 chickens and have a soup set each for our lunch. Here are some of the pictures which describes more..
Then we drove to our "shop house" hotel which was about 15 mins drive away from Tebrau City.
The service was good and they recommended us what we can have for our dinner and etc. The room was so small and cute and there is simply nothing to complain about since I paid only $19 for 1 night in hotel. The only thing I cannot stand during my stay was the smoking smell in the room. Heavy smoking smell lingers in the room despite that I did not see any cigarette butt at any part of the walkway outside my room. But overall, was still quite pleasant. As the hotel room was small and very secluded and quiet, I just couldnt allow myself to stay alone in any part of the room.

It was raining cats and dogs that night and thus we were unable to drive out of the place for dinner. Thus, we resort to walking around the place around hotel to look for food. Most places were closed. however, we managed to find a Pub & Cafe nearby to settle our dinner. It is a western restaurant and has a cute restaurant name: Pohpai's Cafe and Pub. It simply means Popeye, as in the cartoon character. Whats more, the restaurant even playback a video of popeye cartoon and was decorated with popeyes poster around the shop!! Heres what we ordered, and so much food only cost us RM 59.40 for 2 pax!! =O
The day passes very quickly and before we head home the next day, we bought 14 egg tarts home from Tebrau City! I love the egg tarts from Lavender! Smooth egg and crispy tarts! 14 egg tarts to be shared among 4 families! :) Took this while having our car wash at JB. :)
Short and fruitful holiday trip accomplished! :)
Next up: Malacca Trip in 2 weeks time! :)
