The feeling of completing my study years is simply....... GREAT!

No more schools, lectures, or even exams! The worrying part now is looking for a job after graduation. Well, let's rest a little and have fun for the time being before my actual job search starts - on Monday. :) This post is kind of long as I have included pictures and is rather detailed. But please bear with me cos I'm just being....... detailed for my daily happenings. :)

Saturday was well spent with my fiance watching a movie in VivoCity and subsequently the Voyage de la Vie Show in RWS. Not much photo was taken due to the bad weather and obviously I would not want to risk having my phone/camera soaked in the rain. >.<

Met up with my boy around 2.45pm for lunch at LJS and at the same time there was a ongoing promotion for those who purchase 2 sets of $4.50 combo meal and will get a bonus pack free!


After which, we caught Happy Feet 2 at 4.30pm. Somehow both my boy and me think that Happy Feet 2 is more entertaining and touching as compared to the previous episode. Worth the watch if you are the kind who likes cartoon movie or something like High School Musical. Oh ya! I only got to know that Lovelace and Baby Erik went to Vivo between 6.30pm to 7pm for some meet and greet session when we were already in RWS. We totally missed the session! And to think that our movie actually ends at 6.15pm but only receive the news later! :(

Since my boy didn't drive today, we took a slow romantic walk to RWS via the Sentosa Boardwalk. (Ehh, actually the reason for walking in is that we want to save $4 from taking Sentosa Express. But to be frank, I like to walk with him, kind of romantic uh? =p) Explored abit in RWS and saw that there is this Crane Dance performance that we felt that maybe we should go and have a look. However, we realised that the show starts only at 9pm and it clashed with our show which is at 8pm. Feeling kind of wasted and disappointed, we had no choice but to settle down in Coffee Bean & Tea Leaves for a cuppa coffee before our show starts. Let me see, did I mention what show we watched? If not, just to remind again we went to RWS to watch Voyage de la Vie. It is a kind of circus type of show with some magic, circus performances etc. Its entertaining but at the same time expensive too. Luckily tickets were free due to some winning contest. Didn't managed to take photos because no photo taking is allowed in shows, as usual.


After the show, we walked around RWS and I had took some photos of the Christmas decorations. The place was nicely decorated with lights and christmas tree. There were quite a lot of people too. Here I will share with you the photos taken despite the risk of spoiling my phone!

11.11.11 may be a special day to some people in the world due to the numbers of the date. They chose to get married, buy 4D, buy new car, or do some other memorable things on this date. For me, it was also an extremely special and I am not going to forget this day in the rest of my life. :) 2 major events happened on this special day. I'm going to recount what had happen for the 1st event which gave me a great shock.

Event No. 1:

I was heading for school as usual but the purpose was to print my Final Year Report and subsequently to attend my last lecture at 1pm. Alright, to cut the long story short, after all the printings and submission, I went to return a RFID card to one of the laboratories in the school. Was waiting outside the lab since lab techs have gone for lunch and will only be back in another 15 mins time (I have gotten the wrong information on their lunch time you see). While waiting near the stone ledge at the corridor, I put my wallet on top of the stone ledge and placed my arms surrounding the wallet. Little did I know that my wallet actually slips inward and fell to 2 levels down where I was (was at level 1 and the wallet fell to B2). You may be wondering why slip inward still drop downstairs? Well, take a look at the picture below and see for yourself the stone ledge at the corridor.


The ledge have holes and it is not fully covered!!

My wallet fell onto one of the bushes which were surrounded by a lot of aircon lookalike machines!! They are bushes! BUSHES MEANING IT IS NOT FLAT GRASS PATCH! THERE ARE LOT OF BRANCHES AND LEAVES AND DIRT! I panicked and seek help from one of the passerby. He went into the bushes and ransack the bushes for my wallet but to no avail. I became even more panic and run upstairs to and fro to have a better look down at the bushes, trying to see if I am able to spot it. Finally, I spotted it at the other patch of the bushes and managed to retrieve it. It took me a total of 20 minutes to retrieve my wallet!! I was so thankful to the kind soul who actually didn't mind hurting himself while searching in the bushes. Thanks! :)


Event No. 2:

As for the 2nd event, it was a total opposite experience from what I encountered as compared to the first.

My BF somewhat proposed to me! Although proposal didn't comes with kneeling down or specifically saying the words out, his actions with flowers and the ring says it all! I was surprised that he gave me the flower when we met up last night. The ring was attached to Eeyore's hand and he handed me the whole bunch of flower including the ring on it. However, I was really too shy to hold on to the flowers thus rather put it back to his backpack first. Luckily the flowers were made of foam and I can actually keep it for the rest of my life!! Thinking back, it was a very sweet of him to remember what I say about the eeyore flower. :D Well, he chose to propose this day because of the special numbers too, 11.11.11. :)
